Message from the president

Tegbar Yigzaw, MD, MPH, PhD
President of Ethiopian Medical Association

The Ethiopian Medical Association (EMA) will hold its 58th Annual Medical Conference under the theme “Preparing Physicians for Challenges of the 21st Century: Conflict and CPD” from April 15-16, 2022 at InterContinental Hotel, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The conference programs include panel discussions, scientific research paper presentations and state of the art lectures.

There will also be a series of Pre-conference Continuing Medical Education (CME) virtual programs from 8 to 9 April, 2022.

This year also marks a special celebration for the Ethiopian Medical Journal (EMJ) as it turns 60 years old. In light of this great milestone, the journal will offer various opportunities to partner including the conference at the end of the year. The Conferences will be attended by the Minister of Health, representatives of specialty societies, regional physician associations and health professional associations, health professionals and invited guests.

We would like, therefore, to cordially invite all interested members and professionals to actively participate in any of the conference programs or scientific sessions to obtain or share their knowledge and expertise.

We also would like to use this opportunity to invite your institution to partner with us and sponsor these events either in their entirety or in part.

You will find the partnership proposal as part of this Conference website.

Thank you in advance.
