A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Ethiopian Medical Association (EMA) and Medical Societies and Medical Associations.
The purpose of the MOU is to formalize the collaboration and partnership between the Ethiopian Medical Association (EMA) and medical societies and associations.
During the MOU signatory Ceremony, Dr. Tegbar Yigzaw, the president of the Ethiopian Medical Association, stated that “to bring about the changes we want to see in the medical industry as a nation, we should strengthen our ability to create influence. We also need to work together to strengthen the advocacy work done in the past to promote quality health services to our society”. The representatives held a consultation on diverse viewpoints and inquiries brought up during the discussion.
