Tigist Mekonnen, BSc, MPH, CIPM®
I am a Senior Public Health Professional with over 15 years of experience in managing and leading health care programs within the Ethiopian health care system. My work spans across government and non-government organizations, including health facilities, Higher teaching institutions, Professional Associations, and humanitarian organizations. I have specialized in Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal, and Child health programs, policy advocacy, and human resources for health programs.
My expertise lies in managing multiple programs, utilizing project management tools and techniques, financial management, budget control, and implementing risk assurance activities. I am dedicated, passionate, and engaged in development work with hands-on skills in people management and leadership.
I earned my BSc degree in Public Health from Hawasa University in 2005, followed by an MPH degree from the University of Gondar in 2014. In 2018, I completed a Fellowship in project management from the American Academy of Project Management.
