Ethiopian Medical Association Establishes a Strategic Partnership with World Medical Association to Provide More than 3000 Internationally Accredited and world class Online Courses
Ethiopian Medical Association (EMA) is a member of World Medical Association (WMA) since 1994. As part of the many strategies of member’s development and engagement, EMA has established a strategic partnership with World Medical Association to launch a new Education Platform project to help accelerate the learning of physicians in Ethiopia in collaboration with World Continuing Education Alliance (WCEA) and other stakeholders. The aim of this project is to improve healthcare standards in Ethiopia through a strategic partnership with the World Continuing Education Alliance (WCEA) to create a massive resource of continuing education provided by many of the world’s leading educators. Thousands of courses (3000) will have been uploaded to the EMA learning platform creating one central hub of knowledge for physicians to access and stay up to date with the latest thinking and advances from around the world.
With an intention to create an access to this online education platform and providing a unique opportunity to its members on improving knowledge and healthcare regardless of geographical location, EMA is planning to purchase online course from WCME through this project so that Ethiopian physicians can easily access those internationally accredited and world class CME/CPD courses to keep them up to date with the latest thinking and advances from around the world.
